Life After Cleo

Hi everyone! I have finally made it back after a couple of weeks. I have written another blog post at one of my other blogs explaining what I have been up to if you would like to read it: http://ecraftclasses.blogspot.com/2014/05/back-after-couple-of-busy-weeks.html.

At some point we also went to a restaurant, Farmer's Daughter, we hadn't been to in a while. They serve delicious home cooked meals. At the Mennonite store next door to that, I picked up this cute block set.

Just prior to buying these I had bought a nice etching tool. I can etch wood, glass, metal and many other things with it. What they have done here is simply cut some 1" x 2" blocks 4" or 5" long, painted them, sanded them then etched them.

I also had to stop and get more cute photos of Cleo when she discovered a squirrel on the deck the other day. Since she is an indoor cat only, I did allow her just this one time to climb onto the kitchen table in order for her to get a closer look at the squirrel then quickly sterilized it afterwards.

And here is a cute video I got of her while I was vacuuming the dining room chairs the other day. My goal is to get her used to the vacuum cleaner so I can actually vacuum her. We're pretty close to being able to do that I think. She actually came to play just prior to my starting the video. And in case you don't have speakers, the vacuum cleaner is on. If you do have speakers, this might be a little loud.

Have a nice day!
